Ready to be your own boss, this is a hands-on role benefiting from the backing and support only a big brand can give, where you’ll be expected to bring new ideas and fresh momentum to develop the day-to-day activities, as well as long-term strategy, of the agency. Operating on a self-employed basis and working alongside the existing partner, with a shared responsibility for managing the team and the business, your primary focus will be on the agricultural sector, with a brief to deliver genuine and sustainable business growth through a mix of new business and renewal work.
Our Partners/Agents come from a variety of backgrounds, but one thing they all have in common is the ability to hold a conversation and talk to customers on a face-to-face basis. Ideally, we’re looking for proven performers, with a strong sales focus and knowledge of the agricultural sector, who have a good network of connections across the farming community and close links to the surrounding area. People great at building relations, with the ability to manage themselves, their team and the business, who’d relish the prospect of working for themselves and are capable of running a successful business.
Rest assured, you’ll be given all the tools you need to succeed, whether that’s access to expert support and specialist advice or just high-quality product and systems training. More importantly, you’ll have an experienced partner and established team by your side, sharing their knowledge of the business, the area and the people, enabling you to quickly find your feet and help ensure the business continues to flourish, allowing you to start earning from day one.
As a starting point, estimated on target earnings for the first year (based on the current renewal income of the agency) are up to £35,000. Thereafter it will be up to you, with no limit to your future earnings potential, which will only be governed by your drive, vision and personal ambition. But equally, the lifestyle and the freedom that goes with being your own boss and running your own business should not be underestimated.
