Job Title: Small Animal Vet with a strong interest in Avian/Game birds

The Company:
We are situated in a rural environment, in a small town in the South of England.
The practice itself is ideal for hitting the shops in the local town centre, or making use of the excellent travel network to reach larger cities, such as Poole and Yeovil.
We are an independently run family business seeking an enthusiastic, professional and experienced Small Animal Vet, with a strong passion for Avian and Game birds.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the job - Consults, Medicine and Surgery. Must be confident with sole charge.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved with mentoring and lecturing!
CPD is provided as the company believe in investing in their people and infrastructure to provide the best care.

The Job Role details and Key Responsibilities:
· All round Experienced Small Animal Vet
· Passionate about Avian and Game Birds
· Consults in the practice, or sometimes as home visits
· Sole charge
· OOH work
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
· Must be RCVS Registered
· Flexibility
· Experience of working in busy practices
· Good communication
· Excellent team working
· Ability to work with tight delivery schedules
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Good numeracy
· Punctual
· Driving License (or the ability to get one before taking up position)
· Interested in the latest technology as we have lots of new gadgets including digital x-ray, keyhole surgery, in house lab etc etc
Additional Information:
28 days holiday per annum
Salary package:
£29000-£40000 (depending on experience)
