Business Development Manager - OEMs and Replacement Parts - Agricultural and Construction

Location of the Job:

Covering the Midlands.

Salary & Benefits Package:

  • Paying a basic salary of circa £35,000 per year DOE.

  • Plus 20% annual bonus.

  • Company car or truck.

  • Company pension scheme.

The Job Role Details:

Reporting to the Managing Director your will be responsible for driving new business sales and margin growth in line with the company strategy and budget, though effective current account management and new business development.

Driving additional growth where possible with existing customers through working collaboratively to secure new business opportunities.

Managing the commercial element of new project developments with key aftermarket, distributors, dealerships and farming accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

  • Participate in the development of new sales.

  • Products include farm and construction OEM equipment including: fans, coolants, air conditioning, hydraulics, replacement parts and more.

  • Develop, agree and implement account development plans with customers.

  • Negotiate, agree pricing and annual contact terms with customers.

  • Hold regular development and review meetings with key customers to review performance and future schedules.

  • Attend trade shows, networking events and exhibitions.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Sales or new business development experience in the Agricultural or Automotive sector.

  • Technically minded.

  • Living in the Midlands - happy to travel nationally for work as and when required.

  • Hold a relevant qualification such as a Mechanic Engineering - not essential.

  • IT literate.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Previous sales experience in the agricultural or construction aftermarket sector.

Essential Skills:

  • A background within the agricultural or construction aftermarket sector.

  • Previous sales or new business development experience in a similar role.
