Location of the Job: West Midlands – Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
The Company: Our client is a leading Poultry Equipment supplier - serving farmers throughout the UK.

The Job Role details: My client is looking for a successful Business Development Manager with a view to progress to Managing Director to control and oversee all UK business operations. You will be the highest ranking manager in the organisation and will be responsible for the overall success of the business.
My client needs a strategist and a leader able to steer the company in the most profitable direction, with particular emphasis on creating and developing new opportunities and stable income streams.
You will be responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction to the management team to ensure that the Company achieves its’ financial vision, mission and long-term objectives.
Conduct an objective review of the business.
Develop and execute the company’s business strategies - ensure that the company strategy is geared towards this.
Provide strategic advice to the management team so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company’s future.
Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate market development opportunities including:
Complete package offering – turnkey building & equipment, pullet, feed and egg.
Broiler and broiler breeder equipment sales.
Adaption / development of Company own farms.
Improved utilisation of the current manufacturing factory and warehouse facility.
Small holder / retail sales via internet, Amazon, eBay, etc.
Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures.
Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.
Work closely with the sales team with a hands-on commercial approach to new business development.
Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;
Experience in developing strategies and business plans.
Proven record of success in senior level management.
A wide knowledge of the Agricultural / Poultry equipment industry.
An understanding of corporate financial management and wider management.
Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position.
Salary package: A basic salary of £50,000 - £100,000 per year, depending on experience.
