Commercial Director

Location of the Job: UK.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Paying £70,000 basic salary depending on experience.

  • 10% company bonus.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • 37.5 hours per week.

  • Based from home, with regular visits to the UK office, covering the UK and Europe.

The Job Role Details:

A fantastic opportunity has now become available for you to inspire, lead and manage a UK team to achieve this Farm Machinery Manufacturers sales targets and to build dealer and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

  • Inspire, lead and manage the UK team to achieve the overall sales targets for the business.

  • Achieve company sales targets within guidelines for costs, profit and volume.

  • Be responsible for the marketing initiatives within the UK market liaising with the group marketing team.

  • Nurture the current dealer network, whilst looking to appoint professional proactive dealers.

  • Build dealer relationships for the long-term.

  • Act as the "face" of the company in front of both dealers and customers and demonstrate a positive attitude.

  • Sell products and new business processes to dealers.

  • Manage the UK team with regards to HR policies, appraisals, bonus discussions, absence, professional behaviour and personal development.

  • Expand the customer base by identifying new customers and opportunities.

  • Attend exhibitions and shows to represent the company with a professional image.

  • Continually update your knowledge with regards to company products and keep up to date with industry developments and trends.

  • Understand the company financial and budgeting process.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Experience selling agricultural machinery, tractors or implements.

  • Experience of managing people, preferably within a sales role.

  • Commercial experience working with dealers and finance options.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

  • Self-motivated with personal drive and ambition.

  • A team player.

  • Happy to travel in a UK wide and European role.
