Dealership Sales & Workshop Secretary

Location of the Job:

Office-based in Central Wales.

Salary and Benefits Package:

Paying a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • This excellent job opportunity offers you the chance to progress and grow within the department as it expands, but also within the business as a whole.

  • Fully-office based role.

  • Flexible working hours to be discussed - Ideally full time 8am - 5pm, 5 days a week. But happy to consider later-alternative hours 9am - 4pm.

  • 4 day working week could also be considered with longer working hours during the 4 day working week - to be discussed with employer.

About The Company:

The Job Role Details:

This is a great opportunity for you to support the admin for the Sales Manager and Head Mechanic within this specialist equipment dealership in Central Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for looking after…

  • Sales administration (Completion of necessary paperwork for the Sales Manager; invoicing, customer care, delivery schedules, debt).

  • Purchase orders.

  • Ordering parts and machinery (alongside the Head Mechanic).

  • Registering vehicles, managing registration of own fleet and also registration of new vehicles.

  • Set up training as and when required when selling machines.

  • Update marketing material (Daily tasks alongside Marketing Manager)

  • Vehicle tracking, manage the system in place.

  • RHA, downloading and reporting of fleet digicards.

  • Vehicle taxing, insurance & claims.

  • Workshop calendar alongside Head Mechanic to book in customer repairs and servicing.

  • Warranty claims.

  • Invoicing workshop job sheets and chasing debts.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Secretary / Clerk / Administrator.

  • An understanding of the Agricultural and Farming sector is preferred but not essential.

  • Excellent with customers, able to work on the phone and provide a good level of customer service.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • IT literacy skills.
