The estates team is a newly formed team tasked with maintaining and enhancing the estate for the enjoyment of the residents and people who visit.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Estate worker job role to join our estates team and help us maintain Botton Village. Who we are looking for:
An experienced, enthusiastic estate worker, with a “hands on” approach, with experience of general gardening and grounds maintenance tasks.
A good communicator with excellent customer service skills and a polite and friendly manner, as you will be liaising with staff, people we support and members of public.
A proactive, self-motivated, reliable and flexible individual, with a willingness to work across a vast variety of estate tasks and to work on weekends as required and attend occasional events / markets.
You will need to work outside for most of the day, and some aspects of the job are particularly physically demanding.
You will lone work, but will have the support of other members of the team, as required.
An ability to carry out physical work/manual labour, as you will need to work outside for most of the day, and some aspects of the job are particularly physically demanding.
A full driving licence, a forklift truck certificate, experience of tractor and trailer driving or willingness to learn would be a distinct advantage.
A proven capability in using a wide range of equipment and machinery on the land.
