Job Title: Experienced Farm Animal Vet
Location of the Job: Essex, East Anglia, East England, UK
The Company:

The location itself is ideal for hitting the shops or making use of the excellent travel network to reach larger cities or overseas. Equally we are only a short distance away from some beautiful beaches or a country pub - so life can be as fast or as slow paced as you make it.
This practice provides support and encouragement to all its staff members, and pride themselves on doing so.
CPD is provided and fully funded as standard, and there is the opportunity to complete a certificate for the right person.
They seek an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly 100% farm vet, who is confident with OOH and surgery.
Whilst we do have a great practice you will be out the majority of your time in this role, visiting local farms.
As well as the more routine visits we do offer TB Testing and fertility planning.

· Experienced farm vet
· Farm / smallholding visits in East Anglia
· Sole charge
· OOH work
· Surgical bias
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
· Must be RCVS Registered
· Experience of working on busy farms
· Good communication
· Excellent team working
· Ability to work with tight delivery schedules
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Good numeracy
· Punctual
· Driving License (or the ability to get one before taking up position)
· Interested in TB Testing and fertility
Additional Information:
09:00-18:00 Monday to Friday
1 in 5 OOH / on call during the week.
Weekends 1 in 4
28 days holiday per annum
Salary package:
£29000-£40000 (depending on experience)
