Job Title: Experienced Mixed Animal Vet
Location of the Job: Ballyclare, Northern Ireland
The Company:
Situated in a beautiful village near Ballyclare this long established family owned and family run vet team don’t often have to look for a new team member and are only doing so at this time as a cherished member of the team is retiring.
This practice provides support and encouragement to all its staff members, and pride themselves on doing so. CPD is provided and fully funded as standard, and there is the opportunity to complete a certificate for the right person. They seek an experienced enthusiastic vet, who would be happy with approx. 50% small animal, 50% large animal, farm and equine.
The practice itself is located in a perfect location with scenic countryside for getting out and about for walks and other country pursuits, but also close to cities, so ideal for hitting the shops or making use of the excellent travel network to reach larger cities or overseas.
The purpose-built building has great facilities including ultrasound, CT, dental and orthopaedic surgical sets etc etc.
Must be confident sole charge.

The Job Role details and Key Responsibilities:
· 15 min consults when in practice
· Local stable/yard/farm visits when required
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
· Must be RCVS Registered
· Experience in a busy mixed practice
· Ability to conduct TB testing in Northern Ireland
· Good communication
· Excellent team working
· Ability to work with tight delivery schedules
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Good numeracy
· Punctual
· Driving License (or the ability to get one before taking up position)
Additional Information:
30 days holiday per annum
Salary package:
£32000-£50000 (depending on experience)
