Farm Administrator

We have ambitions to become the finest full blood Wagyu breeding unit in Europe and we are looking for a Farm Administrator who is equally ambitious. Our focus is on producing top quality genetics to promote worldwide sales with a finishing unit which aims to produce the finest quality meat.

What’s the job about?

You will be maintaining all systems and documentation relating to the Wyndford Wagyu herd which will include passport movements, calving sheets, embryo transfer records, stock inventories, farm assurance records, DNA testing, registration submission forms etc. You will work closely with the Farm Operations Manager and the Business Development Manager but will also liaise with third party organisations such as Feed Suppliers, Vets, Breed Association to name but a few. Full job description available.

What do we need?

To make the most of this opportunity you need to be well organized and have a keen eye for detail. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have good IT Skills as you will be liaising with customers and suppliers from the UK and overseas. Experience in, or understanding of, farm administration is required and experience of maintaining pedigree herd records would be an advantage but a willingness to learn and a positive ‘can do’ attitude are key.
