Field Service Engineers - Groundcare Equipment - East of Scotland

Location of the Job: East of Scotland.

The Company: Is a leading supplier of groundcare equipment and horticultural machinery within the ground care sector.

The Industry: Groundcare, Ground care, Horticultural, Amenity, Sports Turf, Golf Course, Councils, grounds maintenance.

The Job Role Details:

We have fantastic opportunities available for field service staff at all four depots of this busy groundcare equipment supplier - working alongside over 10 other Groundcare Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Work on the full range of equipment used in the groundcare and horticultural equipment industry.

  • This includes tractors, commercial mowers, golf course equipment, golf cars & light trucks along with handheld tools.

  • Offer excellent customer support and reporting skills.

  • Deal directly with customers.

  • Report to the depot Workshop Foreman.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

You will have / be:

  • Mechanically minded.

  • Live within 45 minutes of the depots.

  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of groundcare and horticultural equipment - or an equivalent/similar type of machinery.

  • Specific experience in repair and service of cutting machinery - preferred but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • IT literate.

  • Well-presented and professional.

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • Basic working week is Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.

Salary Package: Paying a basic hourly rate of £12 - £16 depending on experience.
