Field Service Engineers - Groundcare Equipment - East of Scotland
Location of the Job: East of Scotland.
The Company: Is a leading supplier of groundcare equipment and horticultural machinery within the ground care sector.
The Industry: Groundcare, Ground care, Horticultural, Amenity, Sports Turf, Golf Course, Councils, grounds maintenance.
The Job Role Details:
We have fantastic opportunities available for field service staff at all four depots of this busy groundcare equipment supplier - working alongside over 10 other Groundcare Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Work on the full range of equipment used in the groundcare and horticultural equipment industry.
This includes tractors, commercial mowers, golf course equipment, golf cars & light trucks along with handheld tools.
Offer excellent customer support and reporting skills.
Deal directly with customers.
Report to the depot Workshop Foreman.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Mechanically minded.
Live within 45 minutes of the depots.
Good technical knowledge and understanding of groundcare and horticultural equipment - or an equivalent/similar type of machinery.
Specific experience in repair and service of cutting machinery - preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
IT literate.
Well-presented and professional.
Additional information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
Basic working week is Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.
Salary Package: Paying a basic hourly rate of £12 - £16 depending on experience.
