Fresh Produce Trader
Location: East of England
The Company: Leading fresh produce business based in Cambridgeshire selling a range of produce throughout the year into the wholesale and food service sector. Due to continued expansion within the business, they are looking to add another Trader to join their busy team.

Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role will be responsible for day to day trading on the wholesale desk, and requires someone with buying and selling experience within the fresh produce industry. You will be proficient in sales (food service, wholesale) with the ability to trade (buying & selling) and add new product lines.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
Extremely personable, with excellent customer facing and commercial skills.
Proven track record in trading/sales with at least 4 years’ experience.
Strong experience selling into non-retail outlets.
Fresh produce experience.
Outstanding communication skills.
Excellent IT skills.
Fantastic telephone manner.
Strong relationship builder with food service businesses, wholesalers and category managers alike.
Good contacts in the trade would be advantageous.
The Package:
Salary package is negotiable – largely dependent on experience.
