Fruit Worker
We are a 400-acre Fruit Farm, situated near Monmouth growing apples and blackcurrants.
We require a full-time employee to replace a retiring member of staff, and complement the existing team. The successful candidate will report to the Farm Manager and ideally have the following skills / experience:
•Tractor driving
•Spraying with PA1, PA2 and PA3 certificate
•Telehandler Licence (not essential as training will be given)
•Good mechanical knowledge and aptitude
•General farm work
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a desire for the enterprise to succeed, and be prepared to work long hours at key times. Our busiest times are from April - Mid August each year. Standard hours of work will be 39 hours per week, plus overtime.
Pay will depend on ability and experience, but will be between £25,000 - £27,000 to include overtime.
Accommodation (3 bedroomed bungalow) can potentially be made available for the right applicant.
