Group Farm Manager

We are a family business farming across Kent, growing top fruit, black currants and grapes. We have a new and exciting role managing one of our groups of farms. The position offers new challenges as well as good career prospects and the opportunity for personal development.
The successful candidate will,
•Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to readily gain the trust and understanding of an experienced and motivated team.
•Be an excellent communicator, with clear leadership skills able to take people with them.
•Be a confident delegator
•Have excellent organisational skills.
•Be aware and have understanding of the environmental impact of modern agriculture and will a desire to reduce, and where possible reverse the impact.
•Will be expected to liaise with farm managers on our other fruit production sites, as part of a wider team, to formulate group policy and procedures to maximise efficiency while minimising our environmental impact.
•BASIS & FACTS certificates would be desirable, but is not essential and will, if required, form part of the successful candidates personal development.
