Head of Sales - Machinery
Location of the Job: North West - Cheshire, Staffordshire, Manchester and surrounding areas.
The Company: Our client is a specialist provider of heavy machinery for the Waste Recycling & Material Processing Industries.
The Industry: Heavy Machinery, Machinery Parts, Waste Recycling, Material Processing, Construction Waste, Demolition Waste, Commercial Waste, Industrial Waste, Household Waste, Wood Waste, Green Waste, Organic Waste, Aggregate Screening, Washing.
The Job Role Details:
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will have the overall responsibility of the day to day management of the machinery equipment, hire and parts sales team. You will ensure the team are co-ordinated and managed effectively to achieve the company targets whilst delivering a first class customer service.
Oversee 4-6 mobile sales personnel, 2 spare parts personnel and 2 hire desk personnel.
Managing the sales team, ensuring they work effectively and achieve company sales targets.
Ensuring the sales team complete all management information including diary management, sales pipeline reports and customer contact reports.
Ensuring the sales process for equipment sales, hire and parts is understood by all the relevant people and managed correctly to ensure maximum efficiency.
Taking full responsibility for the management of the CRM system and ensure it is accurate and kept up to date.
Managing the tender process.
Managing the customer service process enabling customer feedback to be collated correctly and used to improve the customer experience in the future.
Heading up the monthly sales meetings.
Working with the Marketing Manager to achieve the marketing and sales team objectives.
Working with the machine supply factories to maintain a healthy relationship.
Working with the directors to ensure machine stock levels are maintained to the appropriate levels.
Complying with all policies and procedures as identified in the Company Employee Handbook.
Ensuring that the Company’s health and safety and quality policy is adhered too.
Ensuring that the status and image of the Company both internally and externally is maintained at all times.
Acting in accordance with CRJ Company Values at all times.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Proven success working in a similar position.
Good knowledge of the Heavy Machinery industry (waste/recycling/construction/demolition)
Proven experience managing teams of sales people.
Excellent organisation, customer service and communication skills.
Happy to travel as and when required.
Additional Information: This is a permanent, full-time position.
Salary Package: A basic salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per year depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: Fully expensed company vehicle, bonus scheme, company pension scheme and more.
