Salary: €31,000 - €36,000 depending on experience
Objective:
We are currently looking to recruit an HGV Driver/Demonstrator to work out of our retail site based in Nurney, County Kildare.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, candidates must hold a valid full C Licence and able to travel throughout the country and occasional overnight stays away from home will be necessary. Overtime rates payable.
You will further be required to demonstrate the full product range of Toro Turf machinery in a professional and efficient manner, for which full training will be provided.
You will also be expected to assist in general yard and warehouse duties when on site.
Core Tasks / Result Areas:
• To organise logistics and planning of daily demonstrations working closely with the Operations Manager regarding customer requirements.
• Responsible for daily vehicle checks and notification of any faults.
• Wash down equipment and prepare machinery for demonstrations and tournaments.
• Keep C Licence and CPC up to date.
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers by treating people with dignity and respect.
• Take pride in your appearance and be presentable to our customers at all times.
• To be responsible for the Health & Safety issues within your areas of control in accordance with Company Health & Safety policies.
• Attend any relevant training sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your duties effectively.
• To be flexible and assist your colleagues where necessary.
• Be prepared for overnight stays away from home when necessary.
• Be able to work alone and achieve the desired results on time and up to the standard required.
• Move machinery as required to support operational requirements.
• Assist in all other areas of the company as operational requirements demand.
