We are looking to recruit a passionate, resilient, driven and enthusiastic Job Advertising Sales Consultant to play a key role in selling job advertising space for our very successful industry specialist jobs board. You will be joining the business at an exciting and busy time to support the company’s continued growth.
Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, this is a full-time permanent role and will be based initially from our modern offices in Bromsgrove. Future flexible working options will be discussed following successful training and onboarding.

As our Job Advertising Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with generating job advertising business from new and existing customers within this niche and specialist industry.

The Role & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the selling of online job advertising space on our niche jobs board (www.agriFJ.co.uk) to existing and new clients.
You will be expected to make a number of quality calls per day to our international database of companies and you will be responsible for structuring your day and week accordingly to enable you to achieve your daily, weekly and monthly targets.
You will be expected to generate additional new client leads, follow up on leads, provide proposals, negotiate and secure new business sales.
Through an understanding of your specialist market, you will be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities from your brand and client base.
You will be expected to arrange and attend new client meetings, via video meetings and face to face, across the UK. You will also visit, and account manage your contracted client accounts when possible.
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of your advertising brand and services on offer in this niche market and gain a good understanding of your competitors including their products and positioning within the industry.
You will offer your colleagues cross selling opportunities where relevant.
Ensure that quality job adverts are placed in a timely manner and job applications screened and forwarded, according to client requirements.
On-going review of the sales processes and offer suggested improvements for the advertising division to the MD and Management team.
You will develop innovative and creative ideas for increasing sales.
You will be expected to represent the company to the highest standard to maintain our fantastic industry reputation.
You will be confident and driven to meet and exceed KPI’s and sales targets consistently.
You will meticulously manage your own sales / billings excel sheets.
The Ideal Candidate:
An experienced sales professional who is happy to pick up the phone and speak to decision makers.
Must be comfortable working at all levels in a very fast-paced and highly demanding environment. Drive, resilience and positivity is a must!
Senior level sales experience in new business sales & account management experience essential.
Ability to grow and maintain valuable long-term client relationships.
Will have a proven track record of successfully hitting sales targets and growing a client base, taking leads from discovery through to close.
You must have an entrepreneurial personality, someone who owns his/her accounts proudly.
You must have an excellent understanding of advertising sales (ideally online advertising).
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills as well as keen attention to detail.
Strong new business skills and tenacious approach to identifying leads and closing sales.
Possible recruitment consultant who understands how to place job adverts in our niche industry.
MUST have worked in recruitment and / or advertising sales for 3+ years.
Experience within the niche industry of Agriculture and Farming would be preferable.
Contacts within the industry would be highly beneficial.
Any Sponsorship Sales experience is beneficial, but not essential.
You must be process driven, target focused and very well-organised to manage your time effectively within a busy daily routine following strict processes.
Ability to work within a team and work with individuals collaboratively, proactively and positively.
Must be well presented with a pleasant, friendly and confident telephone manner.
Must be IT literate and used to inputting quality precise information into a CRM database.
Must be able to travel to industry-specific shows and events.
Must be within commutable distance to our Bromsgrove, Worcestershire offices for weekly team meetings and ongoing training.
Confidence with your personal branding on LinkedIn would be highly beneficial.
Experience in posting job adverts across leading jobs boards would also be highly beneficial.
Resilience and a high work ethic is a MUST to be suitable for this role.
Package on offer:
Basic Salary £24k - £26k DOE - To be discussed at interview.
Fantastic Commission Scheme available.
Company Nest Pension Scheme. (Following 3 months employment)

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 (30 mins lunch break).
Friday – 08:00 – 16:00 (30 mins lunch break).
