​Marketing Coordinator

Location of the Job: North East; Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

The Company: Our client is a specialist Agricultural Machinery supplier.

The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural Equipment, Tractors.

The Job Role details:

The aim of this position is to successfully build the company brand across the UK and Ireland to support the growth of the company, as well as supporting the development and growth of the expanding dealer network.

Key Responsibilities:
You will;

  • Be a social media guru across key platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, creating regular relevant content whilst growing the audience for our brands.

  • Design and manipulate images for use in our social media platforms, using appropriate software.

  • Develop and organise all external marketing of the company in liaison with specialist design agencies where appropriate.

  • Liaise with the press and publish PR bulletins as required, growing relationships with the agricultural press to grow our share of voice in both print and digital media.

  • Help conceptualise and deliver the marketing strategy, campaigns and monitor results.

  • Produce reports and presentations for Group marketing and Directors to demonstrate the impact of marketing strategy.

  • Plan, develop and organise all shows, events, exhibitions that are undertaken by the company.

  • Visit the dealer network in the UK and Ireland and support them with developing their websites and local marketing.

  • Be the brand ambassador internally and with the dealer network, implementing and if appropriate, challenging the implementation of appropriate brand standards.

  • Be responsible for the publication and distribution of product literature.

  • Work closing with the Group Marketing team based overseas.

  • Attend exhibitions and shows to represent the company with a professional image at all times.

  • Continually update your knowledge of company products and keep up to date with industry developments and trends.

  • Take part in and positively contribute to sales meetings.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;

  • Experience in a current or recent marketing position.

  • Good knowledge of the Agricultural sector – ideally within a marketing position.

  • Excellent use of English as a creative writing language.

  • Relevant marketing qualifications or equivalent experience is desirable.

  • Experience of social media platforms.

  • An understanding of the agricultural machinery market is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Professional image and personal presentation.

  • IT computer skills, including PowerPoint, Hootsuite.

  • A knowledge of Adobe InDesign for simple jobs would be desirable.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.

  • Basic working hours per week: 37.5 hours.

  • This is an office based role with a flexible approach to working hours.

  • Travel at least 2 days a week - nationwide and at times involves early starts and late finishes.

  • Role also involves overseas travel.

Salary package: A basic salary of circa £25,000 depending on experience.
