National Service Manager - Groundcare Equipment
Location of the Job: Scotland.
The Company: Is a leading supplier of groundcare equipment and horticultural machinery within the ground care sector.
The Industry: Groundcare, Ground care, Horticultural, Amenity, Sports Turf, Golf Course, Councils, grounds maintenance.
The Job Role Details:
This is national role looking after 16 staff and business, across 4 depots, throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Be responsible for the overall Health and Safety of the depots.
Operate all contract business and grow the customer portfolio with the company range of services.
Recruit, train and develop service staff.
Manage all services systems and working standards.
Drive improvement and evolve the working quality standards.
Manage the performance of the company maintenance contracts.
Raised and provide service quotations and contract renewals.
Look after all warranty works including claims and recovery.
Manage monthly invoicing and the service department WIP.
Technical liaison with suppliers.
Work closely with the Sales and Parts Manager's to ensure service levels and deadlines are met.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Good technical knowledge and understanding of groundcare and horticultural equipment.
Experience servicing, repairing and maintaining groundcare and horticultural equipment.
Happy to travel amongst the four depots in this role.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
IT literate.
Some experience managing or training members of staff in a similar role.
Salary Package: Paying a basic salary of circa £45,000 per year depending on experience.
