National Service Manager - Groundcare Equipment

Location of the Job: Scotland.

The Company: Is a leading supplier of groundcare equipment and horticultural machinery within the ground care sector.

The Industry: Groundcare, Ground care, Horticultural, Amenity, Sports Turf, Golf Course, Councils, grounds maintenance.

The Job Role Details:

This is national role looking after 16 staff and business, across 4 depots, throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Be responsible for the overall Health and Safety of the depots.

  • Operate all contract business and grow the customer portfolio with the company range of services.

  • Recruit, train and develop service staff.

  • Manage all services systems and working standards.

  • Drive improvement and evolve the working quality standards.

  • Manage the performance of the company maintenance contracts.

  • Raised and provide service quotations and contract renewals.

  • Look after all warranty works including claims and recovery.

  • Manage monthly invoicing and the service department WIP.

  • Technical liaison with suppliers.

  • Work closely with the Sales and Parts Manager's to ensure service levels and deadlines are met.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:

You will have / be:

  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of groundcare and horticultural equipment.

  • Experience servicing, repairing and maintaining groundcare and horticultural equipment.

  • Happy to travel amongst the four depots in this role.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • IT literate.

  • Some experience managing or training members of staff in a similar role.

Salary Package: Paying a basic salary of circa £45,000 per year depending on experience.
