It is acknowledged by the industry that NMR is the market leader in the provision and support of dairy software in Great Britain. NMR also supplies aggregate data to over 35 dairy industry bodies including milk buyers, AHDB Dairy and breed societies as well as forming the basis for food provenance schemes for retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury and Marks and Spencer. The farmer is the NMR customer and our recording services reach the cows which produce 60% of the UK's milk.

The Role:

The NML Account Manager will be part of a team responsible for managing the provision of payment testing services to milk purchasers. NML places huge emphasis on the quality of its service provision through which it differentiates itself from competitors. The role of the account manager is critical in this regard, ensuring that key clients are completely satisfied with the service provided by NML and are kept fully aware of the full range of offerings from NML and the wider NMR Group.

Essential Key Skills:

An ability to network and communicate

A wide knowledge of the dairy industry

The ability to use Windows OS and Microsoft Office packages

Good organisational and time management skills

Good understanding of principles of business management and finance

Data handling and processing skills

Clean driving license

Key Responsibilities:

To be responsible for conducting service and price reviews with specific clients periodically whereby ensuring any issues that arise are addressed quickly and efficiently

To contribute to maintaining key accounts effectively and take responsibility for the promotion of added value services to existing customers.

To contribute to the development new services to offer the market along with the pursuit of marketing plans for the effective promotion of such services.

To ensure effective provision of aggregate data to meet client requirements and the generation of suitable promotional materials/case study notes to aid understanding of NML services.

To undertake effective client communications through the generation of the client newsletter and organisation of 6 monthly client meetings.
