Wholesale Nursery Manager / Production Manager
Location of the Job: East Anglia; Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.
The Company: Our client is a leading Amenity Nursery & Wholesale Nursery, providing, servicing and supplying the landscape sector throughout the UK.

The Job Role Details:
As part of the company’s success and development, they are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Nursery Manager or Production Manager to plan the expansion of the production of a new purpose-built site.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Director's you will be responsible for:
Site development, planning and maintenance.
Management and development of all existing and future production processes.
Stock control.
Irrigation.
Quality systems.
Plant health.
Integrated crop management systems.
Environmental management systems.
Recruitment, nurturing, training and managing production personnel and staffing levels.
Site equipment and machinery.
Working with the Directors to develop and work to company budgets and targets.
Site equipment and machinery.
Health and Safety.
Computerised record keeping and reporting.
Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Experienced in large-scale production.
Experience working for wholesale nurseries.
Proven success in the development, production and build of nurseries.
Experience managing teams of people.
Living within the East Anglia region – within 1 hour's commute of the head office and prepared to travel locally to other nursery sites.
Have experience in a current or recent Production Manager or Nursery Manager role.

Salary Package: A basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
