Nursery Spray Assistant / Nursery Spray Operative
Location of the Job: Norfolk / Suffolk.

The Job Role Details:
Working within a highly skilled production team of 25 in this well established nursery, a requirement has now become available for a Horticultural Nursery Spray Assistant.
We are looking for someone with an interest and enthusiasm for horticulture to join this skilled production team.
Full training will be provided, experience and spray qualification is an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Assist in Spraying on two nurseries sites in Norfolk.
Monitor crops for Pest and Disease.
Keep up to date spray records.
Learn, understand and assist in feeding using fertilisers.
Assist in general plant horticultural care including mechanised trimming.
Assist with wholesale picking.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Experience working in the horticultural / environmental sector.
Crop spray training to certificate PA1, PA2 and PA6 - is preferred but not essential.
Clean Full Driver's License as you will be required to travel to two sites.
Empathy for the growing of plants.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
Working hours are: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional seasonal weekend work by team rota.
Working outside.
Salary Package: A basic salary of £19,000 - £24,000 per year, depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: Overtime rates of pay, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, work based company pension scheme and staff discount.
