​JOB ROLE:

Due to ongoing expansion and the addition of the Bobcat franchise we are looking for a Parts Manager for our Head Office

Parts Manager Responsibilities: Day to day running of the parts department mainly Agricultural & Ground care equipment

•Ensuring parts are ordered when required as per customer/workshop requirements.

•Ensuring the relevant department e.g., workshop and office staff are aware of the ordering and processing of parts; actively managing the process from start to finish.

•Build and maintain supplier relationships in order to attain favorable terms and prices.

•Utilise resources to achieve maximum sales and profit, this includes reacting to what parts are fast moving.

•Implement procedures, to ensure the department operates efficiently and to the highest standards.

•Liaise with other departments, so that their requirements are met.

•Control purchasing, stock levels, consumables and budget for the department.

•Deal with customer enquiries professionally, demonstrating knowledge.

Promotional and marketing activity:

•Developing and promoting the parts department via social media.

The applicant will:

•Have a demonstrable understanding of the parts process from ordering, pricing, and invoicing along with an awareness of stock control.

•Able to provide the highest quality of service to customers.

•Outstanding communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, with customers, internal staff members and suppliers.

•Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative and as part of a team whilst following procedures.

•Be forward thinking; looking at ways to improve product and service offering.

•Have demonstrable experience of marketing and parts promotional activity, including showroom display/layout.

•A sound knowledge of agricultural machinery is essential.

•Have Excellent IT skills.

•High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.

• A Full driving license is preferred although not essential.

Full training and onboarding will be given by current staff.
