Parts Person
Location of the Job: Kent, West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire – and surrounding areas.
The Company: Our client is a leading Agricultural Machinery and Agricultural Equipment Supplier.
The Industry: Agricultural Parts, Agricultural Machinery Parts, Tractor Parts, Automotive Parts.
The Job Role details:
Due to the success of this busy Agricultural Machinery business – they are now recruiting for an experienced Agricultural or Automotive Parts Person to be based from their South East depot.
Key Responsibilities:
You will;
Manage goods in and goods out.
Receive, check and put away deliveries, informing suppliers of shortages / damaged stock.
Identify customer’s spare parts requirements in store, over the phone and by email.
Use the online parts system.
Sales Order Processing and Invoicing using the Dealer Management System (Ibcos Gold).
Organise part returns.
Assist with rolling stock taking programmes, to ensure all stock is located correctly.
Pre-pick parts.
General housekeeping duties and tidiness of the department.
Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;
Excellent customer and communication skills.
Great telephone manner.
Agricultural Machinery and / or Automotive knowledge is essential for this role.
Experience working in a current or past Parts role.
Living within 30 minutes commute of the depot.
Must be IT literate and confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Office.
The ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Good time-keeping skills with the ability to multi-task / stick to tight deadlines.
Experience working with Ibcos Gold - desirable but not essential – as full training will be provided.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
Working hours are 8:00 AM to 5.30 PM on Monday to Friday.
During Harvest seasons you will be required to work overtime as and when required, Saturday mornings and additional hours for shows / working days throughout the year.
Salary package: A basic salary of £20,000 - £30,000 per year depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: 22 days holiday (plus 8 days Bank Holiday), company pension scheme, benefits and Incentives.
