The Job Role Details:
A field-based Product Sales Specialist is now required to support the sales of Precision Agriculture products covering the UK and Irish regions. Agricultural experience is not required - if you have skills and experience from a transferable industry, then your application will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of sales for Precision Agriculture products/solutions to the dealer network throughout the UK and Ireland.
You will concentrate on increasing dealer competence by applying the Sales, Marketing and Dealer Development tools.
Conduct local, regional and in-house training sessions to dealers on Precision Agriculture.
Develop and deliver sales promotions to maximise sales and meet customer needs.
Provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence, product performance and promote sales activities on specific products.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
An Agricultural Engineering degree or similar.
Good knowledge of agriculture and agricultural practices specifically precision farming.
Some experience operating agricultural machinery.
Be living within central England ideally or prepared to relocate to this area.
Knowledge of information systems including Microsoft office.
Knowledge or experience liaising with machinery dealers.
Experience and understanding of Agriculture in the UK & Ireland.
Proven ability to deliver presentations and trainings to customers or dealers.
Used to working some irregular hours and be willing to travel within the UK/Ireland and occasional visits abroad as and when required.
A clean driving license is desirable.
Essential Skills:
Sales experience in the heavy machinery sector - Agricultural machinery, farming machinery, forestry machinery, groundcare equipment, construction machinery, heavy plant equipment.
Technical knowledge - good experience in telematics, diagnostics or software used on heavy equipment.
