Quality Control / Quality Assurance Assistant
Location: Cambridgeshire

Purpose of the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Assistant. As a QA/QC you will be ensuring products are meeting the customer specifications and the correct Quality Management Systems (QMS) are being adhered to. You will ensure products are stored correctly, meet customer specification and documentation is accurate, with a true reflection of product quality at all stages of the process. You will be expected to record, inspect and test the raw product on arrival and ensure that all finished products leave both sites with the overall packaging and presentation standards met.
Role Responsibilities:
Monitor stock rotation.
Record intake inspection results.
Perform internal analysis on produce and recording results.
Monitoring stock storage conditions.
Collecting samples when required.
Reporting and communicating results to relevant staff.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
Good data entry skills and attention to detail.
Computer literate.
Self-motivated with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ideally you will have experience in a QC function within fresh produce.
Full driving licence required as travel between sites is a requirement.
The Package:
Salary package is negotiable – largely dependent on experience.
