We are a family farming business in East Suffolk.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to run our rare breed suckler herd and manage the maintenance and grazing of a large area of environmental grassland and lowland heath. We are looking for an organized and self-motivated person with good attention to detail. They should be happy working as part of a team and also independently. Previous experience with cattle handling is essential as well as tractor driving. Experience of working with sheep / goats would be beneficial.
Essential requirements;
Previous hands on experience with cattle
Full Driving License and trailer license
Preferred experience;
Telehandler certificate – training can be arranged
Management of sheep or goats
A knowledge of basic maintenance of agricultural equipment.
Pay;
Basic pay is around £9.50 per hour and overtime is £12.50 per hour
