Job role details: We are recruiting to expand our National Youngstock Sales Team across the UK and introduce our products and services to existing and new core regions of our trading area. Our Youngstock Specialists are prominent, committed professionals in the farming community, who offer practical and strategic advice. In the role, you will be responsible for the management of long-term customer relationships, whilst identifying and fulfilling new sales opportunities. You will offer technical guidance and a portfolio of products relating to Youngstock management.

Purpose of role: You will be required to professionally represent Wynnstay, while developing and maximising the financial contribution of youngstock products and services throughout the trading area and your given territory, working closely with other sales, depot and other specialist colleagues to effectively and profitably develop field sales activity. Working within the technical team, your main responsibilities will be to support a growing product category and maintain our high standards of customer service while helping to enhance the technical knowledge of other key personnel. Contributing fresh ideas on how to grow the category, while also taking part in marketing activities that help support our online presence is key and previous experience of blogging would be beneficial. Within the role there are opportunities for travel and extensive training opportunities. A structured training program will be made available from day 1, aimed at developing and enhancing those key skills required to professionally represent our Company and become a respected and effective member of our commercial team.

Ideal person, skills and qualifications: We welcome applications of interest from all Youngstock Specialists, who have an affinity with our farmer customers. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate business acumen and a good knowledge of agriculture, in particularly ruminant livestock. A proven sales experience is also essential. A can do attitude and willingness to learn and support our Business is key and the successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills along with a good level of accuracy, IT knowledge and literacy.
