The Company:
My clients are a busy, long established, RCVS-accredited, independent small animal veterinary practice.
The practice is has two sites in a lovely idyllic town in Lincolnshire, within 30mins of Peterborough, and 1hr from Cambridge and Nottingham.
The town itself is regularly a finalist in The Times best place to live in Britain survey.
My clients main case load consists of Companion Animals, such as dogs and cats - but occasionally they do get the odd rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, small furries and exotics.
Knowledge and experience of exotic pets is welcomed but not essential. There is plenty of opportunity for support and training to provide ongoing development.
My clients ethos is to provide a high standard of supportive and compassionate care to their clients and their pets.
They have a 24hr hospital unit, so are animals can always be seen by a member of the team.
15 minute consults allow them to spend more time with their clients, focusing on quality rather than quantity. These can be increased to 30minutes for more serious cases.
They support each other clinically and case discussions are positively encouraged as part of a culture of support and collaboration.
There is always a friendly face or a spare hand to help out.

The Job Role details:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at my clients fabulous veterinary practice for a full time Registered Vet Nurse (RVN).
Aim of the role:
My client is looking for an enthusiastic, confident, team player, cheerful and vet who is willing to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities:
To be a full time Registered Vet Nurse (RVN).
Duties will include nurse consults, assisting with surgical procedures, minor procedures, client liaison, caring for hospitalised animals, treatment plans and visits (when required).
My clients believe in providing for their clients as well as they can so they have an on call rota.
Four or Five day week
1 in 3 Weekends (Saturday mornings only at the moment)
1 in 3 On Call OOH
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
MUST be a qualified RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
MUST be an enthusiastic, confident, team player, who is cheerful and willing to get stuck in.
IDEALLY looking for at least 12 months of UK experience or more, however a confident new graduate would be considered.
IDEALLY would live within 30mins of the practice.
Additional Information:
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
Generous CPD allowance
Pension scheme
40hrs per week.
Salary package:
£19,000+ depending upon experience
