Retail Store Sales Manager
Location of the Job: Store based in the South Midlands.
The Package: Paying £36,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience, plus overtime.
Additional information:
Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
Every other Saturday morning working 8am - 12pm/2pm depending on season.
About The Company:
A leading supplier of a wide range of horticultural and garden equipment alone with a large workshop servicing and repairing a wide range of horticultural equipment.
The Job Role Details:
Working within, and alongside a small friendly team as a Retail Store Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales of agricultural, horticultural and garden equipment and parts to customers and the general public.
You will be based in the store, selling directly to customers internally. You will also be required to provide technical advice on all makes of horticultural equipment, occasionally going out to meet with customers on site.

Be responsible for purchasing and dealing with suppliers and manufacturers.
Face to face sales of horticultural machinery and mowers, in person, and over the phone and be able to deal with part exchange equipment when required.
Offer technical advice and support to customers, on mowers and other horticultural equipment, with particular reference to servicing and the viability of repairs to all makes of equipment.
Attend industry events and exhibitions as and when required.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
A good technical knowledge or understanding of horticultural, garden machinery or lawn mowers.
A good knowledge of parts ordering systems and stock keeping.
An understanding of repair times / costs of repairing customers equipment
Excellent customer service skills.
Highly motivated, and keen to learn.
Live locally and able to travel to the store on a day-to-day basis.
Willing to work every other Saturday morning.
