The Job Role details:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at my clients organisation for an ambitious individual to join as a Ruminant Account Manager and become responsible for selling my clients Ruminant feed business offering.
You will be given many opportunities to take your own initiative and responsibility, which means you will be partly able to interpret your position and its future perspective yourself.
Development is always a central focus point for my clients - so you will get the opportunity to regularly discuss your wishes and ambitions with your manager, and will be working to realise these.
Aim of the role:
To be the recognised Ruminant Account Manager for the Penrith area, North of England. You will deliver budgeted sales volumes and margins across the product offering, whilst maintaining debt within company guidelines. Working with all the sales related departments and specialists, whilst reporting to the Sales Manager, you will deliver the company strategic plan.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
MUST have a dedicated interest in Ruminant production systems.
MUST have a sound knowledge of the UK's beef and sheep sectors.
MUST have drive to bring the best products, tools and advice to our farmers.
MUST have nutritional knowledge.
MUST be actively involved in the beef and/or sheep sector within the UK.
MUST be educated to University Level OR have proven knowledge and experience from work placements.
MUST have experience in selling / customer service.
MUST have excellent communication skills.
MUST be IT Literate.
MUST have strategic thinking capabilities.
MUST be results driven / proactive.
IDEALLY will have on-farm experience.
IDEALLY have experience in rationing beef cattle on extensive and intensive systems.
28 days holiday per annum.
40hrs per week.
£21000-£75000 depending upon experience - Plus company benefits!!!!
