Sales Advisor
The Company: A leading European Seed Company offering sustainable solutions to Farmers.
The Purpose of the Job: You will be responsible for managing a designated sales territory, developing sales, and building relationships within the agriculture sector. You will support existing customers and promote awareness of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for selling maize and grass seed to dairy farmers.
Ensure the sales plan for the region is implemented.
Management of farm visits.
Prepare annual sales plan with Manager.
Become proficient with the company CRM system.
Attend relevant trade shows.
Attend farmer meetings.
Advise and visit maize and grass crops on farm.
Option to get involved with trial sites and demo plots.
Person Skills and Qualifications:
This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, ambitious and has a good work ethic.
The successful applicant will have the commercial acumen to develop the area, assisting in the planning and development of market strategies to promote and deliver growth amongst the target audience.
Agricultural understanding/background is essential.
IT competence.
Sales experience or customer service is an advantage.
Working independently but with the support of a small team, you will thrive on the challenge of providing exceptionally high standards against meeting required targets and deadlines.
You will have a proven track record of relationship management and successful working practises to develop new business and promote long term growth.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
The role is predominantly field/home based. 80% field based and 20% office based.
Commutable to the office in Wiltshire.
The Package:
£30K - £35K + car
