Sales & Breeding Advisor
Location of the Job: Dorset and Somerset.

The Job Role details: You will be responsible for selling semen, service and all products within the designated area through personal sales achievement and liaison with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will;
Maximise the sale of semen, products and services in your allocated area.
Regularly visit and contact customers and prospects using a variety of communication methods.
Build and develop excellent relationships with customers.
Interact with relevant industry partners and contacts.
Maintain up to date and accurate product knowledge including changes to the stud and its relative merits.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all other products and services and their benefits.
Effective planning and organisation.
Achieving budgetary targets as set by your line manager.
Record and maintain relevant customer information on the database.
Ensure customers are billed accurately and accounts are up to date.
Respond to all customer and prospect calls/enquiries.
Identify and report opportunities and competitor activity as appropriate.
Work as a team player to achieve overall business objectives in designated areas.
Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have;
Extensive dairy farming experience.
Proven sales success.
Willingness to learn and adapt skills and knowledge to role, including information technologies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
Understanding of the full range of products and services that are provided.
Holder of current valid UK driving licence.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
Demonstrable ‘can do’ attitude.
Salary package: A basic salary of £20,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
Plus Benefits; Commission, car, phone and laptop.
