Seeds Operations Manager (Production & Logistics)
We are a family owned independent agricultural merchant operating in the South East of England, involved in all aspects of agricultural seeds. We specialise in combinable seeds, specialist seeds, grass seed and contract grass seed processing. Our work also involves trading and processing grain including the specialist export market. In addition, we have an extensive property portfolio.
The Role
The role will be working within the existing sales department specialising in grass and specialist seeds. The job will have a strong emphasis on retail customer relationships and negotiating with plant breeders and trade contacts. The position will also require involvement in the management of production and logistics of the seed operations.
Candidate Requirements
•Sound understanding of crop production
•Excellent communicator and ability to deal with customer requirements
•Experience of working in either an agricultural trade, or farm management role
•Ability to problem solve
•Attention to detail
