​Agricultural and Construction Service Engineers

Location of the Job: West Midlands & Worcestershire.

The Company: Our client is a leading Agricultural, Construction & Groundcare Machinery dealership.

The Industry: Heavy Machinery – Agricultural Machinery, Construction Machinery, Plant Machinery & Groundcare Machinery.

The Job Role details:

An experienced, skilled and qualified Agricultural or Construction Service Engineer is required to work on new and used Agricultural & Construction Machinery including; Tractors, Combines, Telehandlers, Cultivation and Drilling equipment – and more.

Ideal candidates should have an enthusiasm for Agricultural Machinery and equipment – and will have completed a relevant engineering / vehicle mechanics apprenticeship or similar qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
You will:

  • Repair and prepare machinery and equipment.

  • Carry out service and repair work within the workshop and off-site.

  • Use diagnostic tooling (training will be provided)

  • Install new and used machinery and equipment.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:-
You will have:

  • Good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and electrics.

  • A background in Agricultural, Construction or Farming machinery.

  • Experience in a similar role.

  • Worked for a machinery dealerships previously.

  • Good diagnostic skills - have the ability to use diagnostic tooling.

  • Great IT and customer service skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent full-time role.

  • Basic working week of 42 hours.

  • Overtime paid at time and a half Monday-Saturday and double-time on a Sunday.

The Package: A basic hourly pay rate of £12 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience.
