Storage Operatives x 2

​The Company

Trinity Grain Limited is farmer owned cooperative in storage, processing and marketing over 200,000 Tonnes of combinable crop for over 300 members in the South of England. Membury site is located off the M4 near Hungerford, Lambourn, Marlborough and Newbury. The site comprised of an array of varying sized silo storage and flats stores.

The Role

We are looking for two Storage Operatives. Reporting to Store Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the running of the control room and ensuring the fast and accurate loading and unloading.

The Individual

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team to support the main work force. Must be a team player, good communicator and be will to work inside / outside in all weather. Among other attributes the ideal candidates have a positive and flexible attitude towards their work, be highly motivated, willingness to take responsibility for themselves and others.

Duties

•Work along side Site Manager and main work force to handle the incoming / out-loading of the grain and organise the store.

•Work with professionalism at all times.

•Adhere to TASCC code of practice for the storage of combined crops and animal feeds.

Store Operative

•Assist with strategically planning out-loading / incoming, intake and utilising the holding and silo bins to allow fast and accurate out-loading / intake.

•Operate grain dryer operations are planned and maximise output whilst not damaging the commodity.

•Monitor store grain product.

•Prepare silos and holding bins for incoming grain.

Requirements

Desirable

•Have previous experience of agriculture.

Essential

•Have a positive attitude towards all work and challenges.

•Flexible approach and willingness to work extra hours during busy period.

•High level of pride and attention to deal.

•Ability to work as part of a large team.

•Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00 (40 hours per week before harvest).

•Monday to Saturday 07:00 - 19:00 (45 hours per week during busy period and with night shift).

Schedule

•During harvest shift

•7am until 7pm

•10am until 10pm

•7pm until 7am

•Hourly rate changeable depend on shift hours
