Territory Sales Manager
Location of the Job: Doncaster, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Leicester and surrounding areas.
The Company: Our client is a well-established Agricultural Machinery provider.
The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Tractors, Combines, Balers, Telescopic Handlers, Sprayers, Cultivation equipment, Spreaders, Drills.
The Job Role details:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, you will be based out of the head office, promoting the fantastic brands this company has to offer to the customers within your sales area.
You will be required to visit all customers within your designated sales area to understand their needs and promote both this business and yourself in a professional manner.
You will need to manage the sales process from enquiry through to sale and delivery, in order to achieve your sales targets.
Sell a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment – a variety of sizes & brands.
Sell directly to farmers.
Travel across your designated sales territory within the East of England, Midlands.
Drive new and existing sales forward.
Achieve / exceed all sales targets and KPI's set.
Build long-term working partnerships with your customers.
Expand the customer base for products by identifying new customers and opportunities within your sales territory.
Attend exhibitions and shows to represent the company.
Continually update your knowledge of the company products.
Keep up to date with industry developments and trends.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
You will have / be;
Experience working within the agricultural industry.
Good knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
Experience in a similar field sales position.
Confident to visit and cold-call upon farmers.
Living within 45 minutes of the main office.
Happy to travel regionally in this field based sales role.
Highly motivated – able to work alone and part of the group sales team.
A positive and friendly personality.
Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time role.
Salary package: £23,000 - £28,000 basic salary per year, depending on experience.
Plus Benefits: Excellent uncapped commission incentive, company vehicle, phone and laptop.
