Territory Sales Manager - Oxfordshire & Berkshire
Location of the Job: South of England, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
The Company: Is a main dealer of Agricultural and Farming Machinery.
The Industry: Agricultural Machinery, Farm Machinery, Agricultural Equipment, Farm Equipment, Tractors, Combines, Telehandlers.
The Job Role Details:
We are now seeking a dynamic and highly motivated person for the position of Area Sales Manager selling a wide range of agricultural machinery, both new and used directly to farmers across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning successful team and build a long term career within the company. This role will be covering a territory centred around Newbury and Hungerford, actively undertaking in all areas of the company's sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Sell a wide variety of agricultural and farming machinery directly to farmers within your designated sales territory.
Maintain a strong CRM database to plan, prospect and achieve the desired sales objectives.
Follow company sales administration processes to maintain accurate documentation and provide back up to the individual sale.
Maintain a very professional attitude to dealing with all customers promoting the company and its brand franchises in a very positive and professional manner.
Report and discuss sales opportunities, activities and progress with management to progress and develop sales activities.
Attend training events some of which maybe overseas.
Support shows and events when required.
Operate within the Health and Safety Procedures and risk assessments at all times.
Support weekend sales rota (08:00 - 12:00), could vary during harvest.
Manage and control wholegood debts.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
Have experience selling directly to farmers.
Excellent knowledge of Agricultural and Horticultural Machinery.
Living within or very local to the sales territory.
Excellent communicator with ability to talk to all levels customers.
Strong IT skills with experience of CRM systems.
Understanding Precision Land Management.
Full clean driving licence.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with good organisational skills.
Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position.
Salary Package: A basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
