Tractor driver/ Self Propelled Sprayer Operator
TLC – Kent is part of the Sandfield Farms group and is one of the UK’s largest fresh produce suppliers to the major retailers, growing over 200 ha of salad crops and 330 ha of arable crops.
We are looking for a full time tractor driver/ sprayer operator based in North Kent to work in a small and friendly team. The role is varied, challenging and requires regular planning with the management team. The role involves spraying both arable and salad crops with a modern 24metre self propelled sprayer and various cultivations/ harvest haulage etc. A high degree of attention to detail is required due to the types of crops that we grow.
The ability to plan and organise workloads in a team environment while maintaining a safe operation is critical.
The successful applicant must be able to communicate effectively in English, be competent in operating agricultural machinery and ideally be mechanically minded and have PA1 and PA2 along with a valid driving licence.
Accommodation could be available on the farm if required.
The hourly pay will reflect experience.
