Flexible - Watford - Hertfordshire

40 hours/week (Mon-Fri)

Due to continued growth we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Tree Spade driver/Tree Planter to join our team based at Radlett in Hertfordshire. Glendale Civic Trees operates on a national basis with it’s main teams based at Radlett, Hertfordshire.

We are looking for a dynamic person to join and enhance our team at Civic Trees. You will be working as part of our Tree Planting teams throughout the UK delivering a high end service both on commercial and private sites using our fleet of tree spades including the UK’s largest Vermeer tree spade.

The successful candidate will work to their own initiative and organise resources to deliver an effective service delivery including, but not limited to:

● Working on large commercial and private projects

● TreeSpade operation

● Tree planting

● Operating machinery

● Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

● Maintaining and completing accurate records

● Adhering to Health and safety guidelines regarding machinery and equipment

The successful candidate will have:

● Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy

● Able to demonstrate professional communications at all levels

● Strong organisational skills

● The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

● Working alone and as part of a team the successful candidate will have a can-do attitude, the ability to work using their initiative and follow instructions from colleagues

● Candidates will have experience working outside and with heavy machinery

● A full driving licence is essential , and if you have a CSCS card this will be an advantage.
