WORKING FIELD MANAGER

LOCATION: Site Base : Kirton Holme, Boston, Lincs, PE20 1TT
JOB SPECIFICATION/DUTIES: We are looking for an enthusiastic person capable of leading a small, but committed team, which is farming 100 hectares across mid Lincolnshire and expanding potato enterprise. Reporting into the Head of Farming and Procurement Manager daily. The role will include, but not be limited to, the management of the full Lincolnshire enterprise from field selection, primary cultivations, planting, irrigation and harvest through to storage, Health and Safety and machinery maintenance. You will also have the responsibility of the seed potato grading and supply chain operation supplying seed to the company’s English grower group.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The position will suit an ambitious individual with a strong level of competency of both practical and technical work and be willing to partake in all aspects of the farming operation and wider business. Candidates should have a good level of experience in potato production with an eye for detail and a determined ‘can-do’ attitude. This is very much a hands on role.
PA1 ,PA2, PA4G, teleporter, forklift certificates would be advantageous.
