We are looking for a Workshop Foreman:-
Job Description
Coordinate the workshop staff, and be responsible for the safe and efficient day to day running of the workshop.
The candidate will be the link between the sales department and workshop, they will be expected to locate and prepare used parts for sale in a timely and efficient manner.
The position will be hands on and involve some practical work.
The candidate will responsible for checking the standard of workmanship and the suitability and condition of used parts before they are dispatched to customers.
The candidate will be responsible for the storage of used parts , and also the general maintenance of the yard and workshop equipment.
The majority the the work carried out in our workshop is dismantling of our own tractors for parts and the repair and refurbishment of components for resale.
The position would involve very little contact with customers and would perhaps suit someone with an agricultural machinery dealer workshop experience that wants a less demanding position.
Hours of work:-Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Salary:-negotiable depending on experience.
