Operations Manager – Agricultural Equipment Supplier – Paying up to £50K basic
One of the largest suppliers of Agricultural Equipment throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for the operation, co-ordination and management of services within the business.
Managing a small team of Engineers - covering Welding, Machining, Painting and Tyre Fitting.
Ensuring all goods are delivered on time and in full.
Full responsibility of logistics.
Be accountable for overheads including: Workshop part and labours, logistics and admin costs.
Ensuring all delivery timelines are met.
Preparing all relevant paperwork and admin.
Improving the storage and workshop facilities.
Working on various machinery – operating and repairing.
Answering the phone as and when required.
The Suitable Candidate Will:
Come from an Agricultural background – Have Agricultural work experience or have grew up on farm.
Have experience working to tight deadlines and managing workload priorities.
Have a thorough understanding of Agricultural Seasons.
Have previous experience in an Operational Management role.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a hand-on approach where required.
Be self-motivated, have good attention to detail and excellent IT skills.
Paying a basic salary in the region of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
