The Job Role details:
As a Marketing and Content writing Executive, you will be a pivotal cog in ensuring the successful positioning and direction of all marketing activities.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be joining this company at a very exciting time in their business development, helping to develop the online strategies best suited to all sales and marketing goals. You will work alongside external digital marketeers to launch new and exciting campaigns to drive online traffic and engagement which translates to sales and brand promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as an ambassador of the company.
Lead on creative communications and marketing campaigns for the business in an omnichannel environment, including as the accountable individual for the company’s website.
Work with Product Development to ensure the business reacts to market demand and on meeting the communications requirements of customer segments.
Point-of-contact for any external communications, marketing or advertising agency, including leading the procurement of any such service.
Make sure quality standards are met and deadlines achieved.
Advise on company policies, practices, processes and systems to improve customer outcomes.
Management, motivation and coaching of junior colleagues – two direct reports envisaged.
Conduct customer and market insight to continue to evolve our messaging and branding in line with our customers’ needs.
Manage and evolve the business online presence through social media platforms and website.
Develop the functional KPIs and reporting framework to measure success, drive continuous improvement and provide performance updates to the Executive team and the Board.

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
Essential;
Plan, research, create and schedule engaging, ‘shareable’ written content for several online platforms including numerous social media accounts, blogs and email marketing.
Designing consistent and creative visuals to complement written content.
Work with the Sales team to create & edit educational video content for appropriate channels.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors and / or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as new audiences.
Have a clear understanding of companies’ policies, vision and messages and how the marketing contributes towards the delivery of them.
Working with our external marketing professionals to implement digital and local campaigns and initiatives.
Work alongside other marketers to assist in the development and implementation of the long-term Marketing Strategy.
Put forward creative ideas and suggestions to support marketing goals, entertain our audiences and engage new audiences.
Initially to hold responsibility for marketing admin e.g. shows & events, ordering of merchandise & literature, etc.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of digital marketing and content creation.
A passion for agriculture / the countryside.
Knowledge of various marketing channels including PPC, SEO, social media.
Dedicated & motivated.
Creative thinker with good time management and organizational skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communications, with a high attention to detail.
Proficiency in graphic design & ability to create strong visuals.
Strong basic video editing skills.
Ideally Midlands / West Midlands based – home based with some travel and initially short work placements.
