Agricultural Service Technician
Location of the Job: South and South West of England, Wiltshire and Hampshire.

The Job Role Details:
We are now seeking a highly motivated person for the position of Agricultural Service Engineer to be responsible for the service, repairs and maintenance of agricultural, farming and groundcare machinery across the Wiltshire and Hampshire areas.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
- Perform mechanical service and repair work on agricultural, farming and groundcare machinery.
- Carry out pre delivery inspection work to new machinery.
- Carry out repairs as per job card and to dealership requirements, reporting directly to the service manager whenever this cannot be done.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of dealership products and service.
- Follow the correct procedure when carrying out warranty work, ensuring that job cards are written up in the correct manner and warranty parts correctly stored.
- Be responsible for the van and use of all workshop tools and equipment and returning them to the correct place after use.
- Keep up to date with manufacturer's systems.
- Account for all time and parts on job cards and time sheets.
- Work with parts personnel to ensure correct ordering of parts.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and safe state.
- Report all customer complaints to the service manager.
- Be prepared to work on call and extra hours during busy seasonal periods.
- Participate in in-house training as required.
- Attend manufactures training and other courses as required, either in the UK or abroad.
- Keep to date with current product technical information.
- Follows workplace procedures and instructions at all times.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
- Recent experience working on the service, repairs, maintenance of agricultural farming or groundcare machinery.
- Excellent communicator.
- All round technical knowledge including electrics and hydraulics.
- Good IT and administration skills.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Full clean driving license.
- Work to tight deadlines and have a can-do attitude.
Additional information:
- This is a permanent full-time position.
- Basic working week is 40 hours.
- Additional overtime will be required throughout busy seasonal periods.
Salary Package: Paying an hourly pay rate of £14 - £17.50 per hour depending on experience.
