Job Title: Agronomist – Somerset
Location of the Job: Somerset, North Somerset, Frome, Bridgwater, Weston, South West.

A well-established agronomy and agricultural services business are actively seeking an experienced Agronomist to join their sales team.
The Industry: Agronomy, Agronomist, Agricultural chemicals, Agrochemicals, Agchems.
The Job Role details:
Supporting farming customers offering a full range of advice, products and agricultural services for profitable crop production and farm business management.
Aim of the role:
To be the recognised point of contact within the geographical area for the business and to successfully expand the customer base and sales for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a high level of quality service to all customers.
Develop an agricultural trading area, building contacts and gaining customers by supplying advice, products and services.
Support the development of the business across the whole company and trading area: working with existing agronomists and trainee agronomists.
Maintain a current understanding of changing industry practices, legislation and regulation.
Contribute to the development of best practice for all agronomic services.
Attend technical and sales training opportunities including technical days and industry events.
Gain a full understanding of the range of products that the company has to offer.
Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the company.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
MUST have BASIS Crop Protection full qualification.
Must be happy to do a lot of daily crop walking.
Must live in geographical territory area.
Salary package:
£Basic Salary to be discussed depending upon experience.
Fantastic Commission structure on offer.
Plus Benefits; Company Car, Pension.
