The Company:
Our client is a fast growing, multi award winning business providing sustainable, higher welfare beef supply chain solutions.

Location of the Job: Nationwide

Job Responsibilities:
Previous experience in livestock buying is required.
Maintain relationships with farmers, livestock agents and suppliers.
Ensure the livestock purchased meet production requirements.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with abattoirs, live export companies, lot feeders, other stock agents and farmers.
Carry out farm visits offering advice on selection, breeding and nutrition to farmers.
Carry out tasks in accordance with current animal welfare legislation and company operating procedures at all times about safe movements, handling and production.
Contribute to the recording and maintenance of slaughter information and data.
Ensure livestock deliveries are as planned.
