Commercial Product Specialist - Agricultural Machinery - Aftercare - UK

Location of the Job: UK - Home / Field Based - Able visit the office when required.

Salary and Benefits Package:

The Job Role Details:

As Commercial Product Specialist you will be responsible for supporting, steering and growing your department within the business.

Your team will consist of Customer Product Specialists, Farm Management Support, Technical Support plus Marketing and CRM and other Shared Services who are together responsible for the entire company product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for supporting and training your employees within the branch - providing commercial activities and transfer your product knowledge in order to achieve maximum market potential for the business.

You will be responsible for:

Training support;

  • Provide training to the Sales Advisors, Customer Care Managers and Service Managers on company solutions, sales tools and transferring product knowledge.

  • Listen to Company, stakeholder and market feedback creating strategy to overcome risks to adoption.

  • Act as point of contact for the Company concerning commercial and technical questions about the product range.

  • Prepare training material relevant to the business segment.

  • Coordinate updates and upgrades concerning product improvements to the department.

  • Monitor sale pipeline, accurately reporting KPIs to your Manager.

  • Innovate, execute and record commercial activities in line with the corporate strategy.

New Product Introduction;

  • Ensure the New Product Introductions from the business are correctly implemented within portfolio segment.

  • Responsible for the preparation and adjustment of training materials.

Distribution Development;

  • Support the sales funnel management in the business and assure use of CRM tooling.

  • Assist in the development of company Budget Plans.

Stakeholder Management;

  • Actively grow the business market leading reputation in the field while maintaining industry relations.

  • Continuously inform your department about market trends, solutions, management practices.

Management & Organisation;

  • Develop and execute marketing actions within the marketing plan (e.g., advertisements, articles, press releases, national shows, open days, farm visits).

  • Develop your local market knowledge.

  • Ensure that sales and marketing activities are registered in the CRM system.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Agricultural / Farming / Dairy experience.

  • Strong sales and commercial acumen gained within a similar position.

  • Machinery background - ideally within agriculture, dairy or farming.

  • Excellent relationship builder.

  • A valid UK driver's license and be happy to travel when required.
