Commercial Sales Person - Groundcare Equipment - Scotland
Location of the Job: Scotland - covering Central Scotland as a territory.
The Company: Is a leading supplier of groundcare equipment and horticultural machinery within the ground care sector.
The Industry: Groundcare, Ground care, Horticultural, Amenity, Sports Turf, Golf Course, Councils, grounds maintenance.
The Job Role Details:
This is a senior role within the sales team and you will report directly to the Sales Manager. Looking after municipal, contractors, trusts and schools etc. throughout the central belt of Scotland - supplying customers with a wide range of groundcare equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
Visit existing customers and expand the client reach.
Promote the company's products and services.
Represent leading sector machinery brands in the groundcare equipment sector.
Utilise the team of Sales Demonstrators to show products to customers.
Be involved in the tendering process, responsible for building quotations and presenting to customers.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be:
A strong business acumen.
Excellent knowledge of the ground care equipment/horticultural equipment industry.
Experience dealing with end users/contractors/councils/schools/golf courses.
Warranty/technically minded.
Able to come in and hit the ground running.
Happy to travel in a field based role.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent full-time position.
This role is home based - covering west Scotland/the Scottish Borders/central Scotland.
Salary Package: Paying a basic salary in the range of £32,000 - £37,000 per year depending on experience. OTE of circa £45,000.
