Head of Food & Farming
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Food & Farming to lead the team on advice across all aspects of farming and food production, rural land use and farm management across the whole of Scotland. This Director-level position sits within the wider Rural division where, as Head of The Food & Farming Team, you will provide business, strategic and technical advice, and farm management consultancy, to a wide range of farm businesses.

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor and report on progress for the Food & Farming strategy for Scotland.
- Lead and promote the business at national, regional, and office events.
- Drive and lead on business development initiatives.
- Maintain a strong industry presence as a recognised commentator within the Food & Farming industry.
- Lead and mentor a hard-working team and set clear objectives in line with business strategy to measure and manage performance.
Desired skills and experience:
- Agricultural consultant background with some practical farm management experience.
- Expertise in farm business operations and relevant financial structures.
- Strong leadership skills and experience; recruitment, coaching, team management.
- Excellent communication, media, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
